They clay class my neighbor Zeke held is over. While I surprised myself at what I was able to create, it looks as though twoprops won’t be quitting his day job any time soon. I do rather like the way the green man came out, with his textured face and gold highlighted black hair.
I like how the textured sides of the box turned out thanks to treatment with a silver nitrate solution prior to firing. The other pieces were… interesting… at best. I had a lot of fun, particularly watching my friends’ designs materialize, and they and the other potters of the world certainly won’t have to worry about a serious new competitor coming on the scene. But I’m really happy to have done it.
