I tried using EchoFeed to syndicate this garden to Mastodon. EchoFeed is a great service, but my hypergraphia is just bad enough that none of my posts will fit in a single toot. Instead, they get truncated and I’d have to include a link in each one so they could be read in the browser. Perhaps I’m alone in this, but I actually don’t enjoy following Mastodon accounts that just post links to longer pieces. I think my stuff will generally fit in two (perhaps three) toots, so would probably work well as threads. Fortunately, EchoFeed is based on Robb Knight’s open-source project now known as EchoClassic, so I’m going to see if I can add functionality to string long Mastodon pieces into threads. It appears to be written in JavaScript, so there will be a learning curve for me. Don’t hold your breath.
