I got the pavilion walls raised today, with massive help from the Hired Hand and our fabulous local handyman. The pavilion deck is doing its job, though it required some minor structural revisions when we learned the actual dimensions of the pavilion kit.

The first wall was rather precarious after we raised it, and we rushed to get the second wall up before a big gust of wind or an accidental lean pushed it over.

With the second wall up and the connecting beams attached, the structure became much more stable.

Even from out in the pasture, it’s starting to look like an integrated part of the compound.
