HA came home yesterday afternoon. She’s been gone for over five weeks.
Luna and I drove to the airport to pick her up. Luna even wore a lei with which to welcome HA home, though it was barely visible under her fuzzy ruff. There’s free parking available at the airport, but it’s a hundred yards or so from the baggage claim area. Luna knew where we were, and started pulling me toward baggage claim. She knew what was happening!
I think she was more excited — or, perhaps, just less restrained — than I was at HA’s homecoming.
Welcome home, HA!
I am also happy to report that my mother-in-law came through her surgery like a champ, and is rapidly recovering.
