My grandparents had a tradition of eating black eyed peas and ham on New Years. I once asked my grandfather why. He said that you should do on New Years what you want to be doing all year long.
Alas, there wasn’t quite enough sun to heat up the hot tub as much as I like today. Perhaps it will happen tomorrow. But just hanging out here at the compound with HA and Luna the Big Dog™ are things I want to be doing all year.
