The rebirth of twoprops.net happened on 06Mar2024. That’s 784 days ago.
Depending on exactly how you count, I’ve posted 706 columns. That’s 0.9 columns/day.
I never intended to make this an absolutely one column per day, no more, no less proposition, but I wanted to stay close to daily updates. I’m going to pat myself on the back and say that nine columns out of every ten days is doing pretty well.
But is it a good idea?
I honestly thought that I’d be posting more fiction and verse, but those are things that usually take more than a day and probably get preempted in my brain by more immediate content for twoprops.net. So that’s a down side.
On the up side, I’ve found that the habit and discipline of writing daily has been very good for me. Does that translate into being good for you, dear readers? I have no way to know. But, like flossing one’s teeth, the decision to do it every day ends up with me being much more consistent than if I were to endeavor to do it “most days.” So, for now, I’ll keep it up.
