I’ve laid all the stones for the new path from the rock driveway to the front porch. I’ve posted a bunch of new pictures and even a video to the new path page. There’s still nuance, as I’ll have to level and adjust some of the stones as they settle.
That was four tons of sand, dry, and I moved over half of it, wet, with a shovel. It was 12 tons of stone, dry, and the Hand and I carried almost all of them to make the walk (we might have enough left over to make a walk to the pavilion, but that will be a lot of carrying). Heavy lifting, but I’m really happy with it and it’s even nicely illuminated by the landscape lighting.
