We considered a lot of options for making nesting boxes for the chickens. Well, HA did. I know nothing about chickens and try to limit my involvement. Though we could easily have built some, and it seems that four would probably suffice for ten chickens, HA ultimately decided to buy a flatpacked set of ten boxes. We assembled them together. They can go up on legs (included) or bolt to the wall (probably a better option).

The palatial residence is just about ready, but the chicks still have weeks to go before they’re ready to leave their brooding box.
