After getting 20 inches of rain in a couple of days, I figured we were due for some sunshine. Today dawned bright and sunny here on the Hāmākua Coast. I even checked the weather report (something I haven’t done in weeks; I’ve all but given up) and the future looked bright, indeed.
I started a load of laundry, thinking we’d have plenty of power for the dryer.
By 10:30, it was pouring rain. We’ve had over an inch already.
I like the rain, and I like that this is a rainy, wet jungle. But I’m ready for a day or two of dry and sunny so I can get some work done on the property.
