I woke about 04:30 this morning. I often don’t sleep well when HA is away. After relaxing in bed for an hour or so, I decided to just get up, make a cappuccino, and sit in the hot tub. My back pain is a lot better, but it’s at its worst when I wake up in the morning, and the hot tub really helps. If I can’t enjoy my morning cup in bed with HA, being in the hot tub is the next best thing.
I was surprised to find that I had a pretty good view of the sunrise through the trees. I’ve never noticed a sunrise from within the compound before, so it was a surprise. It turns out the hot tub is just in a perfect place to see a little slice of morning sky.
I am pretty strict about never taking a phone (or book or music) into the tub, so I have no photo to share. The hot tub is a place for contemplation, not media. The sunrise was over by the time I got back to my phone, but there was this lovely hibiscus waiting to be photographed.
