Our main avocado tree had very little fruit last year, but is quite prolific this year. The Hand and I picked at least 30 avocados yesterday. The hens continue to consistently lay 3-9 eggs per day.
Ever since we moved here, we’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity of our neighbors. They have provided us with seedlings and cuttings, pineapples, mangoes, avocados, and bananas. They’ve helped us with manual labor and with heavy equipment. We’ve had gifts of plumbing parts and wonderful company.
Now we’ll have avocados and eggs with which to show our appreciation.
