The temperature here today topped out at 113.2°F (“but it’s a dry heat!”). By contrast, the high temperature at the island place was 76.6°. Fortunately, we have the pool, a good air conditioner, and an electric vehicle that will keep the aircon running while it is parked. Even with those incredible luxuries, though, it was uncomfortable for me (I even skipped the hot tub), and Luna the Big Dog had to have been miserable under all that fur. Even though the humidity is much higher there, I think we’ll all be more comfortable on the island.
