Our friend Queen B wants to visit and see what’s new at the compound, but I worry about her mobility issues. HA’s parents would face similar challenges, and I’m certainly not getting any younger. I started to design and build a portable ramp, but then saw these online. It folds into a four-foot long package with handles, and it’s remarkably easy to carry around and deploy. That means we could even move it to the pavillion in back, so Queen B in her power chair can experience our newest space.
