I should mention that the ER experience here was much better than I had feared. It was quick and uncrowded, and the people were unfailingly kind about treating my earache that evolved into a faceache.
Today was the first day in a while that I was able to function. We had to take a trip to look at a parcel of land that we currently have in escrow where we could downsize if the compound ever becomes too much. I don’t think I could have done it had HA not been willing to drive. So it was a pleasant day traveling with her and Luna the Big Dog™.
I still had to take a long nap in the afternoon, and though I’m worlds better than a couple of days ago, I’m still pretty uncomfortable and impaired. But progress is good.
