I still don’t have the laundry sink hooked up. I’m waiting for various adapters to convert between the thousands of different pipe, hose, and tubing threads. We did get a freezer, though. It should help us save a lot of money by making fewer trips into town. Setting it up involved playing a puzzle game with moving stuff around the garage.
We now have a very suburban-looking garage wall: washer, dryer, laundry sink, freezer. I’m really glad I built the garage because I actually like having a state-of-the-art laundry area but I also like that our house (built in 1914) is still as authentic as it can be while still having electricity and indoor plumbing.
