It has not only been rainy lately, but dark. Really dark. We have had to burn a lot of gasoline (over a gallon a day) to keep the power flowing. The solar lights around the hot tub didn’t get enough charge to turn on. A neighbor farther up the mountain needed to use her generator for the first time in an age, and discovered that it wouldn’t start. She borrowed our old power station for a little boost. Even our electric front gate with its remote solar panel wouldn’t open yesterday, and I had to put the batteries in the Chargearium for a couple of hours. That’s the first time that’s ever happened.

Needless to say, Joulee the Free Salvage Tesla has not had significant charge in some time.

To make matters more bleak, rainy season officially began on November first. If it’s any wetter than the dry season, we’re all going to mold.
