It’s an exciting day! Getting power from where the sunlight is to where the house is (over 350 feet away) is a big project. We had to have custom-made solar panel ground mounts shipped from the mainland. I had to put in service panels at the studio and at the house. The studio is wired; the house has only a single socket but I’ll be adding more as we re-wire the whole place. We took down the temporary solar panels from their shaded location and moved them to where the new system will be. We’ll have to pull 377 feet of wire. Then we’ll wire the new garage and put in a charging socket for Joulee the Free Salvage Tesla. We’ll have a washer and dryer. We’ll have ceiling fans and dehumidifiers to help with the mold. I’ll be able to have instant hot water at the kitchen and bathroom sinks (a wonderful perk I had added to the mainland house). We’ll get our electric bidet seat back. I’ll be able to bring up the long-dormant servers for my other internet properties. We’ll get many of the luxuries of urban living out here in our far-flung corner of paradise.
